Search for New Vice President of Academic Affairs
DePauw English Literature Professor Wayne Glausser has spent the last months heading the search for a new Vice President of Academic Affairs. When the committee makes a selection, current Vice President of Academic Affairs, David Harvey, will return to his role as chemistry and biochemistry professor. Glausser says that he and the committee hope to offer a position to the selected candidate by this coming weekend and that the new Vice President of Academic Affairs will be in place for the 2013-2014 school year. The twelve person committee has spent the last months looking at resumes and conducting interviews with accomplished teacher-scholars who have had significant success in administrative roles. There are no internal candidates currently in the running for the new position.
