Election Results

Tuesday afternoon, May 8, Putnam County announced the Primary Election Results at the Courthouse in Greencastle. Putnam Co. Council at Large winner is Republican Gene Beck. Beck beat out Larry Parker by 1 percent, or a little more than a thousand votes. The Putnam County Commissioner winner is Republican David Berry, beating out Jake Zaring by less than 600 votes. Mourdock also defeated Lugar in the Indiana Senate Primary, ending one of the longest-serving members of the Senate, Mr. Lugar's reign.
